Now that the batch of RSS feeds of news from Africa--as well as the similar batches of Sudan-, DR Congo-, Somalia-, and Zimbabwe-related feeds--have been stabilized for some time, I'm again thinking about adding another batch or two of country-specific feeds. However, I probably will hold off for at least a little bit longer, as I likely will also have to deal with adding other feeds as a result of the imminent referendum in southern Sudan (based in part, not surprisingly, on what the newly independent country would be named). For the record, Nigeria is easily still the most-likely candidate--although there are a few other possibilities.
Separately, over the past week, I've come across feeds for an apparently revamped/relaunched site for Nigeria's "Leadership", the "Osun Mail", "Tell" magazine's blog, the "Urhobo Times", the apparently related "Niger Delta Standard", the "Nigerian News Service" (which is essentially an aggregator along the lines of, say, the previously mentioned "Nigeria '70" and "Turenchi"), "African Spotlight", Gift Phiri's "Zimbabwe Reporter", the Real Medicine Foundation's blog, and the Millennium Water Alliance. (In addition, see the Real Medicine Foundation's separate lists of partners and supporters--as well as the Millennium Water Alliance's list of members, and similar lists of groups from the Global Water Challenge and Water Advocates.) - EJM
