I haven't yet been able to finalize replacement widgets for what had been the batch of RSS feeds of news from Africa--as well as the similar batches of Sudan-, DR Congo-, Somalia-, and Zimbabwe-related feeds; therefore, they remain down for now. (Again, Grazr recently discontinued its widgets.) Hopefully, though, I will have some replacements ready within the next few weeks.
Separately, since the last update, I've come across feeds for "African Newslive", Nigeria's "Republic Report", One World Trust's blog, the Council on Foundations' "RE: Philanthropy" blog, IGAD's Conflict Early Warning and Response Mechanism, UNDP's Programme on Governance in the Arab Region, the Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative, the bilingual (Swedish/English) blog of Diakonia, the bilingual (English/French) site of WAO-Afrique, Child Welfare South Africa, Higher Education South Africa, the Oxford Poverty & Human Development Initiative, the Universal Peace Federation (including the related "Africa Day"), the Colorado Coalition for Genocide Awareness & Action, Children of Zion Village's blog (as well as its offsite "volunteer blogs"), other individual missionary blogs affiliated with The Mission Society (also including Bethany Christolear's), "Care2", and "International Business Times" (including its "Africa" subsite).
Updated (originally), on Monday, to also note feeds for EarthRights International (which I don't think I've specifically mentioned before), the Center for Constitutional Rights, the related (but archived) "Wiwa v. Shell" site, and the related (but third-party) "Bowoto v. Chevron Trial Blog"; updated (again), on Tuesday, to also note feeds for AMISOM's official site (which I also don't think I've specifically mentioned before) and the bilingual (Somali/English) news sites "Keydmedia", "Somali Diaspora News", "Bar-kulan", and "Qarandoon"; updated (further), on Thursday, to also note feeds for Nika Water's blog and the semi-related Village of Hope Uganda; updated (yet again), on Friday, to also note feeds for Energy In Common's blog, South Africa's Denis Hurley Centre, the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Liberia (which I might have mentioned before), and Give Us Wings (which I also might have mentioned before); updated (maybe for the last time), on Saturday, to also note feeds for Nigeria's "GidiGuy". - EJM
