I've all but decided what I'm going to use to replace the former batch of RSS feeds of news from Africa--and the current batches of Sudan-, DR Congo-, Somalia-, and Zimbabwe-related feeds. However, I won't be able to make the switchover until next weekend, at the absolute earliest.
Separately, since the last update, I've come across feeds for Genocide No More, the New York City Coalition for Darfur, "Burning Billboard" (thanks to Enough), the Next Century Foundation's Sudan blog (thanks to Michelle), the Nile Hope Development Forum, Light Gives Heat's separate field and office blogs, Drop in the Bucket, the Center for Human Rights and Democracy in Africa, Interpeace, europafrica, the bilingual (Arabic/English) site for Egypt's "AlMasry AlYoum" (which may have been revamped/relaunched recently), "This Is Africa" (affiliated with the "Economist"), Niger Delta Solidarity, "Malawi Politics", Zimbabwe's Community Working Group on Health, the Zimbabwe Women's Resource Centre and Network's blog, the Zimbabwe AIDS Network, the "Zimbabwe Guardian" (not related to the similarly named site that's also known as "TalkZimbabwe"), SAfAIDS, and ImmersionSA's blog. (Updated [originally], on Saturday, to also note feeds for CGIAR's regional blog for eastern and southern Africa, the Development Policy Management Forum, Leader.co.za, and South Africa's "Skills Portal"; updated [still further], [also] on Sunday, to note feeds for the Oakland Institute's "Voices from Africa" blog and the Namibia Agricultural Union.)
In addition, you may want to visit the site of the just-launched Sudan Now campaign. (Updated [further], on Sunday, to also note the "I Am Lubna" online campaign [thanks to Ms. Hamilton].) - EJM
