The feeds in the big, big batch of widget-based, Sudan-related RSS feeds relating to the official Reuters blogs have been streamlined, in an effort to both avoid duplication and make sure that all posts are represented; this means that the feed for the "Darfur" tag on the Reuters Africa blog has been removed (as the related posts still overlap completely with the ones for the "Sudan" tag) and that the similar feed on the "Global" blog (which was added only a few days ago) has been changed from the "Sudan" tag to "Darfur" (as there is now a post that was filed only under the latter tag). In addition, some category-specific feeds for Drima's blog (in addition to the already-included primary/overall feed) have been added.
Separately, a category-based "Zambian Chronicle" feed and a podcast feed for VOA's "Studio 7 for Zimbabwe" (one of several apparently new podcasts for VOA's various "English to Africa" programs) have been added to the almost-as-big batch of Zimbabwe-related feeds--while the Google News feed there has been changed from a basic, query-based feed to a new, topic-based version. (That new version is related to a new Africa-specific Google News topic, and related new nation-specific topics for Botswana, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Namibia, Nigeria, Tanzania, and Uganda [all in English].)
And, for those who may have been following the feeds that were part of the batch of RSS feeds of news from Africa, before I revamped it a few weeks ago, I've since come across feeds for "Building Bridges with Rwanda", Cameroon's "Entrepreneur", Cameroon's "Eden Newspaper", Sierra Leone's "Awoko", Uganda's "Weekly Observer", and Zambia's "Lusaka Times". Also, the site for Kenya's "Nation" has been revamped/relaunched; among the site's feeds now is one for the new Africa-news section. (Updated because I forgot to mention the feeds on the Tunisia Online News site.) - EJM
