Various category/tag-based African Press Agency feeds (in addition to the primary feed, mentioned in a recent post) have now been added to both the very, very big batch of widget-based, Sudan-related RSS feeds and the extremely big batch of feeds of news from Africa--while Steve Bloomfield's new, official blog for the UK's "Independent" has been added to the latter (thanks to Mr. Bengali).
(Updated, on Sunday, to note that Kizzie's blog has also been added to the former batch and that yet another business/economy-related APA feed has also been added to the latter batch.)
On a completely unrelated note (though one that's still of interest), Philip Balboni is leaving New England Cable News in order to spearhead the launch of a new, Boston-based company that aims to be "the first U.S.-based website devoted exclusively to international news"; see the original press release (on the NECN site), plus related "Boston Business Journal", "Multichannel News", "Television Week", Associated Press, and "Boston Globe"/"International Herald Tribune" stories (thanks to DCRTV). - EJM
