Ingrid Jones has created several compelling tagged photo albums available on flickr. Click here for her tags, and then choose among Darfur, Sudan, Africa and so on. I found her smaller Africa set particularly powerful as a montage--it shows the combined impact achievable with a flickr page. Her Darfur set features the faces of the power people involved in the conflict, mostly men. Also quite a compelling set, it would be interesting to see these faces of power and powerlessness displayed linearly along the walls of an art gallery setting or museum. And finally her Sudan set is quite comprehensive, and includes some images that are almost surreal in their formal beauty and terrifying content, such as that above.
