Again, for now, I'm still holding off on adding more batches of widget-based RSS feeds (for, say, Nigeria, Uganda, Kenya, or Ethiopia); however, it also continues to be a possibility. Either way, there's still the batch of RSS feeds of news from Africa--plus the similar Sudan-, DR Congo-, Somalia-, and Zimbabwe-related batches of feeds.
Separately, since the last update, I've come across feeds for the European Coalition on Oil in Sudan, the multilingual site of the Mo Ibrahim Foundation, the Partnership for Effective Peacekeeping (affiliated with the Better World Campaign, Citizens for Global Solutions, and Refugees International), the African Regional Youth Initiative, Africa Interactive's blog, the Voices of Africa Media Foundation, the Communication Initiative Network, the Soul City Institute for Health & Development Communication, the Peace and Collaborative Development Network, Causecast, the bilingual (French/English) main site of GoodPlanet (as well as its related [and also bilingual] "Action Carbone" and "GoodPlanet.info" sites), Friends of Africa International's "Pan-African Youth Leadership Forum" blog, the Man Up Campaign's blog, Keza's blog, Educare Africa, the One Ummah Foundation's blog, Africa Classroom Connection, the Eshowe Community Action Group, Threads Africa, Every Generation Ministries' blog, Bridging the Gap, His Nets, Passport's blog, the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, Africa Harvest Mission, the UK's Computers 4 Africa, Rivers of the World, the Amsha Africa Foundation, Ape Action Africa, Missions in Africa (as well as the separate site for Mark and Kay Bojovic), Advocates for Africa's Children's blog, Planet Aid, the Great Ape Trust, Disability Solutions' (organizational) blog (as well as Guy Davies' personal one), Alicia Brewer's blog, the Faith Alive Foundation's various affiliated blogs (also somewhat affiliated with Hope for West Africa), Nigeria's Centre for Information Technology and Development, the recently relaunched site for Nigeria's "Guardian", the (coincidentally) recently relaunched site for Nigeria's "P.M. News", "NigeriaPlus", Nigeria's "Debate and Review", the news aggregator "Nigeria '70", the bilingual (English/French) site of the Rwanda News Agency/Agence Rwandaise d'Information, the Zambia Association of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, "Zambia Analysis", and the "Zambian Chronicle". (Several of these are thanks to the GuideStar-produced charity listings on the Network for Good site [which, to be fair, also appear in a very similar manner on the JustGive site], while a few others are thanks to Aid for Africa; this is another case where--largely [but not entirely] because of time restrictions--I haven't been able to follow a lot of the usual sites over the past few weeks.)
Also, concerning the passing of Manute Bol, please see the Sudan Sunrise site. (Updated [originally], on Thursday, to also note feeds for the International Center for Research on Women, the Global Health Council, Bread for the World, and Bethany Christian Services' various blogs--which I came across [or was reminded of] recently but apparently haven't specifically mentioned already; updated [further], on Friday, to also note feeds for Heifer International's blog and International Justice Mission--which I also don't think I've specifically mentioned before; updated [likely for the last time], on Sunday [27 June], to also note feeds for the "Daily African", the "Journal for Central African Studies", the apparently recently relaunched/revamped [but still multilingual] site for Angola Press, Ante up for Africa, the Africa Soil Information Service, Veterinarians without Borders/Vétérinaires sans Frontières-Canada's Tanzania-related blog, International PEN, "African Vibes", the Youngstars Foundation, ammado's blog, Medical Missions' blog, Nurses for the Nations, the Christian Revival Church Association of Liberia, and Water of Life.) - EJM
