I've still been concentrating on (for various purposes) digging up new sites/feeds, so I still haven't been able to replace what had been the batch of widget-based RSS feeds of news from Africa; also, there have been no changes to the (largely still functioning) Sudan-, DR Congo-, Somalia-, and Zimbabwe-related batches of feeds.
Since the previous update, I've come across feeds for Sean Brooks' personal blog, Ali's "Sudan Stories" blog, Will Swanson's "Darfur Diary" blog, Tara Callander's blog, Matthew Lovelace's (archived) blog, Kelly Miller's (archived) blog, Lydia Singer's (archived) blog, Southern Sudan Health Care, Echoing Green, the World Justice Project, IKV Pax Christi, Youth Against Poverty, Innovations for Poverty Action's blog, Practical Action, the FGC Education and Networking Project, International Development Enterprises' blog, the Trivani Foundation's blog, Health Systems 20/20, Cultural Survival, Global Vision International's various blogs, SpanAfrica's various blogs, WorldTeach's blog (although the blog itself currently has a typo in its links to the actual feed), Microfinancing Partners in Africa, Youth Challenge International's blog, Acumen Fund's blog, the "Morocco Post", Uganda's PACE, Falling Whistles' blog, World Relief's various Great Lakes and East Africa blogs, WE-ACTx (including Georgina Evans' and Eunice Laurel's related blogs), the Itafari Foundation's blog, the Kibera School for Girls' blog (affiliated with Shining Hope for Communities), Nuru International (including [among others] Meghan Baird's semi-related personal blog), Kenya's Community Aid International, Ghana's unrelated Community Aid International, "Sierra Leone Now", The Fomunyoh Foundation's blog, Nigeria Masterweb's news blog, the Malawi Education Project's blog, the Zambia Development Agency, the Electoral Commission of Namibia, Jabulani Africa Ministries' blog, the related Leadership Experience, the related Mercy Alliance International, South Africa's Women's Net, and South Africa's Refugee Social Services--as well as the largely bilingual (Somali/English) news sites "SomaliTalk" and the "Somaliland Guardian"; in addition, the Humanitarian Practice Network site does feature region-specific feeds. (Some of these are thanks to Mr. Kristof, especially concerning the reader comments posted about his latest column; others are thanks to Mr. Thurston, Mr. Okafor, "Reject Apathy", and various recent IRIN/PlusNews and IPS stories.)
