I still haven't been able to successfully post the new, Widgetbox-based widgets that I created to replace what had been the widget-based RSS feeds of news from Africa; therefore, there are still no new changes to that page--or to the similar (but largely still-functioning) batches of Sudan-, DR Congo-, Somalia-, and Zimbabwe-related feeds.
Separately, since the last update, I've come across feeds for Carl Wilkens' World Outside My Shoes, the related "Pedaling2Peace", the Ethiopian-news site "Oromsis", the Aiga Forum's blog, "Good News Ethiopia", Isis - Women's International Cross-Cultural Exchange, Congo News Channel's blog, the Great Lakes Media Institute, Tiyatien Health's blog, the related One Degree Solar, the Sino-African Virtual Institute, mPedigree, the Council for Renewable Energy in Nigeria, the Tanzanian Albino Society, the bilingual (Portuguese/English) site for Mozambique's NAIMA+, the Zambia Association for Youths in Schools, the recently revamped/relaunched site for the Crisis in Zimbabwe Coalition, South Africa's Ndlovu Care Group, South Africa's "TechCentral", South Africa's "ITWeb", and the Association for Progressive Communications. In addition, the site for Compass Direct News has also apparently been revamped/relaunched recently, and now features country-specific feeds.
Updated originally, on Sunday, to note the various feeds on the just-relaunched site for Aid for Africa, and to note that the U.S. chapter of Food for the Hungry's recently launched "Sponsor Impact" blog does feature country-specific, tag-based feeds; updated further, on Monday, to note feeds for the FXB-affiliated "World AIDS Orphans Day" site and Uganda's AIDS Support Organisation, and to note that the Insight on Conflict site (affiliated with Peace Direct; thanks to Michelle) does feature country-specific, tag-based feeds; updated still further, on Tuesday, to note feeds for South Africa's "DefenceWeb", the Indigenous Peoples of Africa Coordinating Committee's blog, "Africa Climate Debate" (affiliated with SHALIN and RESCUE), Kenya's Africa Health and Development International, TrustAfrica's blog (which may have been relaunched recently; thanks to Mr. Okafor), Pete Chonka's Horn of Africa-related blog (thanks to the Frontline Club), the multilingual site for the Movement for the Autonomy of Kabylia, the similar "Kabylia Info", and the related "North of Africa"/"Afrique du Nord"; updated even further, on Wednesday, to note feeds for the Somalia-related National Civic Forum, the Puntland Development Research Center, Somalia's Centre for Research and Dialogue, the Somali Cultural Association in Australia, Somalia's Food Security and Nutrition Analysis Unit, Israel's B'nai Darfur, and Voice of the Copts. - EJM
