"The decision by Khartoum to refuse to provide jet fuel for the delivery of humanitarian food aid in Darfur speaks volumes about the utter contempt of the National Islamic Front for the people of Darfur and international efforts to assist them," writes Prof Eric Reeves in his latest report on an "extraordinarily important humanitarian issue" that has arisen concerning South Sudan and Darfur - even while the world is watching.
The whole report is in next post here below. Please read the whole thing, slowly and see why people are are calling for extra peacekeepers in Darfur.
You can help by donating/linking to the Genocide Intervention Fund (GIF).
GIF is receiving donations from citizens around the world in support of peacekeepers for Darfur. The number of donations could prove more effective than petitions. Politicians might listen up when the donations grow. Please register what you can, even if it is just a few dollars, the cost of a meal or cinema ticket.
